As you may already know from our Fixture Calendar, Mark Pearce’s Captain’s Day will take place on Saturday, 18th June.

The Committee have agreed that there will be NO entry fee for this years competition, however members are reminded that to be eligible to play on Captain’s Day they must have returned a card in at least 4 Club Handicap Qualifying Competitions since the start of the summer season in April this year.

Members are also reminded that, as the draw for Captain’s Day was completed as part of the June monthly draw, if they are not eligible to play or are unable to play, they MUST remove their name from the timesheet via BRS no later than 12noon on Friday, 17th June.

Entry to the Competition on the day and return of scores shall be as per normal weekly competitions via the Ireland Clubs on-line facility; the entry fee will display as £0 and your balance will be unaffected when you confirm your entry.

As catering facilities are still not yet available at Allen Park, the usual burger will not be available midway through your round, however, we will be having a Prizegiving which will be held at The Dunsilly Hotel starting at around 7.30pm that evening. All members, spouses and guests are most welcome to attend.

There will not be any charge to attend the evening event which will include a buffet, disco and karaoke hosted by DJ Melvyn Gould.
