Dear Member,
With golf the first sport permitted to return following the most recent lockdown, there is a significant responsibility placed upon the sport and its participants to ensure that behaviours are appropriate and in keeping with current public health guidance relating to the ongoing pandemic. Please read the attached document, (and already sent to Golf Club members), to see a full list of rules and guidance outlined by the Golfing Union of Ireland.
Golf Tee Time Booking
Golf Tee time bookings open this evening at 6pm for the 1st April. All bookings will be made through BRS. Currently tee times are available in 2 balls and for strictly 9 holes per day.
Protocols will be reviewed in a couple of weeks and hopefully we will return to four balls over 18holes.
Golf at Allen Park is strictly for members only at present.
Competitions Antrim Golf Club Tee Times
Antrim Golf Club have withheld a decision to return to competitive golf until the protocols are reviewed again in the next few weeks.
Saturday and Sunday priority tee times remain available for Antrim Golf Club members to book on the front nine at the normal club times. The back nine is available for all Allen Park members to book.
Club Facilities
Practice facilities including the driving range will remain closed until the protocols are reviewed.
Toilet facilities will be available in the Centre, on a strictly one in and one out basis. Members are encouraged to use toilet before they leave home.
Changing rooms and lockers will remain closed until the protocols are further reviewed.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and adherence to the rules and protocols above. If you have any further queries or questions please email more@antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk
Kind regards
