CAPTAIN’S DAY 2023

As per the Fixture Calendar, Adrian Smyth’s Captain’s Day will take place on Saturday, 17th June.

The Committee have agreed that the Entry Fee for this years competition will be £5.

Members are reminded that to be eligible to play on Captain’s Day they must have returned a card in at least 4 Handicap Qualifying Competitions since the start of the summer season this year.

Members are also reminded that, as the draw for Captain’s Day was completed as part of the June monthly draw, if they do not wish to play or are not eligible to play, they MUST remove their name from the timesheet via BRS no later than 12noon on Friday, 16th June.

Entry to the Competition on the day and return of scores shall be as per normal weekly competitions via Ireland Clubs on-line facility; as with all Club competitions members must ensure that they have sufficient funds in their Competition Account to cover the Entry Fee otherwise they will not be eligible to play on the day.

Match & Handicap Secretary, Victor Watson has also asked me to remind members to return their score cards promptly on the day of the competition to help him determine the results in a timely manner for the evening Prize Presentation.

As catering facilities are still not yet available at Allen Park, once again a burger will not be provided midway through your round, however, a buffet will be available later that evening at the Prize Presentation which will be held at the Rococo in Antrim starting at around 7.30pm.

A reminder and further details will be posted on the Notice Board nearer to the day of the competition.

Regards

Brian Johnston

Hon. Secretary
